Belt noise can mean the belt is worn or loose. It's definitely coming from the rear of the engine compartment and narrowed it down to the EGR valve or the turbo. Its came back making the whoooping noise and being new to turbos thought it was the new DV they'd fitted making the noise. It may just be the boost pressure pushing back against the inlet rotor in the turbo. I wouldn't recommend anyone to take on this job at home unless they really insist.
